In short, our mission is to make the Puget Sound area more accessible and welcoming to disabled folks through education and partnership with our community. We believe that a lot can be accomplished through encouraging curious and respectful conversation and collaboration. We want to break down discomfort around disability discussion by creating an environment that fosters curiosity and learning. When people know better, they do better!
Having community engagement at the center of everything we do helps strengthen our support system as disabled individuals. Actually Disabled can then use their community connections to refer disabled individuals to the ever expanding and improving list of accessible resources.
